If you suspected Polish immigrants first brought the tradition of the Babka coffee cake to the US, you'd be right. But of the many recipes for Babka, we think we've found the classic. Ours uses a special enriched yeast dough that's rolled around a cinnamon or chocolate filling to produce a beautifully marbled bread. Kosher.
