It shouldn't surprise anyone that the people who created and managed some of the most famous vineyards in Napa Valley (Pahlmeyer, Gemstone, Kapcsandy, Showket, to name just a few) just might want to get into making great wine themselves. The four Piña brothers, along with young winemaker Anna Monticelli, did just that, creating single-vineyard Cabs from several of the outstanding properties they developed. Here their Buckeye Vineyard Cab is lush and lively with tons of black fruit and raspberry syrup. We love the way this beauty coats the entire mouth with its big, boisterous, tannins. USA
