It's no secret that we are huge fans of Greg and Steve's approach to wine; the boys meticulously select individual vineyards in Santa Barbara County that allow them to produce uniquely site-specific expressions of Chard and Pinot. Here at Mount Carmel they have chosen a mere six acres of wind-blasted soil of clay and limestone. Doesn't sound promising to you or me, but wait 'til you taste this.
